It turns out that gardening and my toddler go hand in hand. I spent the weekend planting annuals and weeding and my 2 year old loved helping. Only she actually helped! She did not pull a single flower and even pulled some weeds. Of course the biggest fascinations were the shovel, gloves, and dirt. Sure I didn’t get things done as quickly with her helping but it was worth it. Now I want to make her her own little square foot garden box - maybe with a square or two of just dirt so she can have fun. Cheaper than a sandbox probably!

It’s a blast huh? I just love the way my 4 year old loves gardening as much as I do. Makes it so much more fun!
Yup and this is all new to me - never gardened when she was younger
