Top 8 Links for Square Foot Gardening

Here is a list of my favorite sites/groups/blogs on SFG, compiled in the last 3+ months.

1. Square Foot Gardening - this is the official site of Mel Bartholomew. There are some great resources here including instructions, lots of cool pictures, faqs and supplies (see the catalog section). This is where I ordered my SFG’s. Sometimes the site is down - usually works by the next day.

2. Yahoo! Groups SFG Forum - I just joined this forum and really like it. Lots of newbies as well as voices of experience.

3. SFG Gardenweb Forum - Gardenweb is a very popular forum for gardeners and they have an SFG section.

4. Tim’s Square Foot Garden - This is a great site that is frequently updated by an experienced SFGer.

5. Landscaping with SFG - Good article about landscaping the square foot way.

6. Square Foot Gardening UK - Organic Square Foot Gardening in the UK - full of lots of articles, organic gardening techniques, and a forum for SFGers.

7. Square Foot Gardening with Children - A collection of articles about creating a square foot garden for little ones.

8. Square Foot Garden Neighborhoods - OK this is actually a part of the official page (see link 1) but I’ve had the hardest time finding it through the main page, and it’s one of the best sources of inspiration I’ve found, so here it is.
