About Me
I’m a stay at home mom of a mischeivious 2 year old girl (referred to in this blog as DD1 (darling daughter 1), and a 2 month old girl (DD2). I live with my husband (DH-darling husband LOL) in Salt Lake County, gardening zone 6b, with 2 snakes, a tarantula, various cats and my newest acquisition, 6 hens.
I am pretty new to gardening and chose square foot gardening for the promise of low maintenance - and because the author, Mel Bartholomew, lives right here in Utah - it’s pretty popular here. Right now I have 4 2×2 SFG boxes growing tomatoes, beets, swiss chard, strawberries, broccoli, and basil. I also have an upside down tomato grower with basil growing on top and some container strawberries.
I love roses and am growing mostly lavender/pink & multicolored varieties.
